Ian Morris is going to be working on spectroscopic investigations and quantum control of novel color centers in diamond to make them accessible as quantum bits for future solid-state quantum information processing applications.
Logan Crooks will work on novel quantum interconnects based on rare earth-doped crystals which will enable interfacing and synchronization of a variety of optical and microwave based devices within a diverse, hybrid quantum technology landscape.
